H Merrett Funeral Directors can trace its history back to 1743 when it combined the business of building with arranging funerals for the citizens of Corsham.
When Denis and Yvonne Bewley took ownership of the company, they established a family tradition, that has seen their son, Jonathon Bewley join the business and in recent years Jonathon's son, Aaron Bewley joining the family business to become the third generation of the family caring for the community.
The Bewley family have recently welcomed Leanne Thomas into the family concern as their first female funeral director.
